FEB.04 (Lower Allen , Cumberland Co) WANTED; ROBBERY

LOWER ALLEN TOWNSHIP, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa —  Police are looking for a man who robbed the Subway on Simpson Ferry Road around 11 a.m. this morning.

According to a press release, a man walked into the Subway on the 5200 block of Simpson Ferry Road, ordered a sub and demanded all the cash. Threatening the cashier that he would hurt her if she didn't listen. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction with $100, a handful of quarters and his sub.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall and 250 lbs. He was last seen wearing a trench style dark gray coat and knit hat.

He was last seen heading east bound in front of the Windsor Park Shopping Center.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lower Allen Township Police at 717-238-9676 or Cumberland  County Crime Stoppers at 1-855-628-8477.

Community: 2016 National Night Out

Dear Nixle User,

On Tuesday August 2, 2016 from 6pm to 9pm the Alburtis Police Department will be hosting our 9th Annual National Night Out Event at the Alburtis Area Community Center's Pool.

Admission is $3.00 per person (age 2 and under are free)

Receive a special raffle ticket for each canned good donated.

Free Hot Dogs (compliments of Norm's Shell Station & Hatfield Quality Meats).

Games and Prizes.

A Basket Raffle will take place to raise funds for the Alburtis Police Department's Crime Prevention Program.

Live music by Bootleg Express!!!

Community: National Night Out is Next Week

Dear Nixle User,

National Night Out 2016 is almost here! NNO is at the Campbelltown Fire Company, 2818 Horseshoe Pike, on Tuesday, August 02, 2016, from 6pm-9pm. Admission is FREE. If your business or organization would like to participate but has not signed up yet, it's not too late. You can e-mail us at cassel.nno@gmail.com or contact the Office during business hours at (717)838-1376. The deadline for registration is this Thursday, July 28.

If you have not attended in the past, it's a great opportunity to meet the first responders who serve your community. You're almost certain to see extended neighbors and old friends. Many local businesses and organizations will be there to answer questions and explain what they do. It's also a chance to meet some people who may be new to our growing area.

There's something to do for everyone at NNO: Music, Food, Bounce Houses, Candy, Slides, Games, Give-a-ways, Face Painting, Door Prizes, and Fun will be part of NNO 2016. We hope to see you there!
