CBS Pittsburgh reported that an Allegheny Sheriff's Deputy recognized a wanted person and during the arrest was attacked by the subject who had failed to register as a sex offender. The suspect attempted to grad the deputy's firearm and was Tazed during the struggle. The suspect then fled on foot but was apprehended in the basement of a residence where he attacked officers with a knife. A police K9 was injured in the attack and underwent surgery. Three other officers sustained non-life-threatening injuries while taking the suspect into custody.

The Bucks County Courier Times reported an armed robbery involving two suspects, one male, one female. Upon leaving the Giant grocery store with unpaid items were approached by a loss-prevention employee who was threatened at knife-point.
Police are searching for a black Nissan Xterra with a partial Pennsylvania license plate of "HVX..."
Anyone with information should contact police at 215-633-3671

Police in Right Place to Stop and Arrest Suspected Bank Robbers
State Police in Erie County say two suspects in a bank robbery are now in custody, and the car they were driving has also been seized. The two men were spotted by police on traffic patrol along Interstate 90 after they got the call to be on the lookout.
