11.22.14 Aggravated Assault/ Shooting
1ST BLK. S. PRINCE ST.
Shortly before 7 AM ... members of the Lancaster City Police Department responded to the 1st block of W. King Street for a report of a shooting. It was reported that there was one Male subject at the scene with a gunshot wound to his arm and groin area. The Victim stated that he was not shot there and that he needed help. The actual shooting occurred outside in the 1st block of S. Prince Street. Early indications revealed that the suspect and victim were known to each other.
The victim was transported to Lancaster General Hospital for treatment of his injuries that required surgery. The condition of the victims is currently listed as serious but stable.
As a result of the police investigation, Detective Donald Morant charged Robert Charles LOWDEN M/22 with one count of Aggravated Assault and one count of Persons Not to Possess Firearms before Magisterial District John Winters. Detective Morant has obtained an arrest warrant for LOWDEN.

At approximately 6:58 a.m. 11/22/14 Lancaster City Police responded to a report of a person down in the 1st blk. W. King St. Officers located a 27-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was conveyed to a local hospital. Initial investigation determined the man was shot at a location several blocks away from where he was found. The exact location where the shooting occurred is unknown and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.

Suicidal subject reported to be armed with a rifle threatened to take his own life during a telephone call with family members. Subject also threatened to shoot police if they interfered with his plan.
