Advisory: *** Press Release - Struck Unidentified Pedestrian ***

Dear Nixle User,

On Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at approximately 2:37 am an unidentified white male was struck and killed by a freight train while standing on the train tracks located at the Langhorne Train Station.

Investigation found that the unidentified male had begun to walk across the train tracks when he stopped in the middle of the train tracks. It was at that time he was struck by a CSX freight train which was traveling west bound. The unidentified male pedestrian succumbed to his injuries. The male was wearing a red "Killians Irish Red Lager" t-shirt and black cargo shorts.

This crash is still under investigation.

Middletown Township police are requesting any assistance in identifying the unidentified male. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash are asked to contact Middletown Township Police Department at (215) 750-3845.
