Lower Moreland police brief: Week of February 2

Lower Moreland Theft … The owner of Eastern Regional Ambulance reported Jan. 26 at noon that a theft from one of her ambulances had occurred, police said. The owner said she last saw the ambulance, which was parked on Tracy Road, secured Jan. 25 at 3 p.m., police said. The following afternoon, she found the swing doors to the vehicle opened and the windows shattered, police said. Several items such as an AED device, oxygen tank and related medical equipment and supplies were also missing, police said. Authorities observed surveillance footage and saw a man in dark clothing walk toward the passenger side of the vehicle and a few minutes later leave the scene, police said. The footage also shows a car pull up next to the ambulance and a few minutes later leave, police said.

Jenkintown Citations pending … Citations of public drunkenness and disorderly conduct are pending against Scott G. Campbell, 35, of the 300 block of Media Station Road, Media, after police observed Campbell stumbling down the walkway and slurring his speech in the 200 block of Township Line Road at 4:16 p.m., police said.

Abington Retail theft … Giarad Fleetwood, 20, of Sanger Street, Philadelphia, was cited with retail theft Jan. 11 after he left Bloomingdale’s in the Willow Grove Park mall with two items worth a total value of $84.50 he did not pay for at 7:18 p.m., police said.
