Dear Nixle User,

Lots of fun tonight in Hatboro! The Summer Fun Festival opens tonight at 6PM in Miller Meadow with a professional fireworks display at 9:30 PM! Please note that Fulmor Avenue will be closed to parking and all traffic during the fireworks. Stop by and visit with professionals from the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety who will be present with their field communications vehicle to spread the word about calling 9-1-1 anytime you need police, fire or Emergency Medical Services!

The Friday night Hatboro Farmers Market will also be underway at the Hatboro Baptist Church tonight.

Please use caution when driving through town tonight and be alert for extra vehicular and pedestrian traffic!

The Hatboro Police Department wishes everyone an enjoyable and safe Memorial Day weekend. We salute all of those that have served in our armed forces and honor those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice defending freedom on this Memorial Day weekend.

FALSE IDENTIFICATION TO LAW ENFORCEMENT

Tamaj Dior Jackson, age 18, of Philadelphia PA, was arrested Friday, May 20, 2016 at 3:22 AM in the parking lot of the Exxon Tiger Mart on E. Old Lincoln Highway, Langhorne PA, for providing False Identification to Law Enforcement and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

RETAIL THEFT

Kenneth Lee Fruh, age 72, of Philadelphia PA, was arrested Friday, May 20, 2016 at 7:45 PM at J C Penney in the Oxford Valley Mall on E. Lincoln Highway, Langhorne PA, for Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property.

Charlotte Marie Figart, age 22, of Levittown PA, was arrested Monday, May 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM at T J Maxx in the Lincoln Plaza, E. Lincoln Highway, Langhorne PA, for Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS

Rudy Damian Celis-Ayala, age 20, of Levittown PA, was cited Monday, May 20, 2016 at 2:45 AM in the parking lot of the Exxon Tiger Mart on E. Old Lincoln Highway, Langhorne PA, for Public Drunkenness.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Michael Christopher Brown, age 25, of Levittown PA was cited Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 10:52 PM for Disorderly Conduct regarding his actions at Samuel Everitt School in Forsythia South Drive, Levittown PA.

Joseph William Merz, age 26, of Levittown PA was cited Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 10:52 PM for Disorderly Conduct regarding his actions at Samuel Everitt School in Forsythia South Drive, Levittown PA.

POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

David Robert Kurth, age 30, of Fairless Hills PA, was arrested Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 11:51 AM on E. Lincoln Highway & I-95, Langhorne PA, for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

CRIMES

BURGLARY – NON-RESIDENTIAL

Victim reported on 5/21/16 at 10:59 AM that sometime between 12:00 PM on 5/20/16 and 9:00 AM on 5/21/16 that unknown actor(s) entered the property on Trenton Road, Levittown PA and removed fire extinguishers from an antique fire truck parked on the property. They also entered three (3) separate storage buildings by pulling wood off the doors or smashing glass window panes and vandalizing the interior and removing some antiques. Also taken was a key to a lawn mower. No value given on theft or damage.

BURGLARY – RESIDENTIAL

Victim reported on 5/24/16 at 4:24 PM that unknown actor(s) entered the residence on Highland Park Drive, Levittown PA, through an unsecured door. The actor(s) took a gold 1973 Neshaminy class ring, an unknown amount of change, and two (2) expired credit cards. Value of theft $200.00.

THEFT

Victim reported on 5/24/16 at 5:22 PM that unknown actor(s) removed a gnome lawn ornament $30.00 and two (2) glass candle holders $40.00, from the property on Handy Road, Levittown PA. Value of theft $70.00.

Victim reported on 5/26/16 at 10:05 AM that sometime between 5/23/16 and 5/24/16 unknown actor(s) forced entry into a shed in the rear property of the Oxford Valley Chapel on Oxford Valley Road, Levittown PA. Taken were two (2) weedwackers , a leaf blower and four (4) 1.5 gallon gas containers. Value of theft $630.00.

A black bear has been spotted at approximately 6am on West 5th St headed towards School Street and Borough Hall. Please use caution when walking or driving. Do not approach the bear. Please becareful when letting your dogs outside in a non-fenced in yard. If observed please contact the Alburtis PD at 610-966-4778.

UPDATED: The bear was last seen southwest of the Borough headed towards the Alburtis Rod & Gun Club property.

Advisory: Rt 22 will be restricted (moving closure) to 1 lane on Tuesday 5-31-16 approx. 5-6 pm for special Olympics torch run.

Dear Nixle User,

On Tuesday 5-31-16 Murrysville Police Department members will participate in the 2016 Special Olympics Torch run. The team ruuners will receive the torch at approx 5pm at speedway near rt 286 and run it to sheetz where it will be passed off to another team at approx. 530.
Rt 22 will be restricted to one lane during this time to provide room for the runners. Our leg is expected to last approx 30 mins and the team following approx 30 mins as well. Please be patient during this time. The runners are doing this for a good cause to raise funds and awareness for the special olympics.
If you would be able to donate the smallest amout to our team it would be appreciated.
