Residents have reported that they have had items taken from unlocked vehicles in the past 48 hours in the northwest section of Cleona Borough.
Residents can take steps to eliminate or minimize theft of vehicles by: • Lock all doors and close all windows before leaving your car • Remove all valuable items when you leave your car or remove them from plain sight. • Park your car in a well-lit and secure area if possible.
Commonly Stolen Items • Money, wallets, credit cards • Tools and power tools • Computers, mobile phones, cameras, GPS and other electronic devices • Handbags, jewelry, sunglasses.
