Community: Reminder! Hatboro Police will be participating in county-wide drug take back event, tomorrow from 10AM until 2PM.

Dear Nixle User,

The Hatboro Police Department will be participating as a drop-off site for a countywide prescription drug take-back event scheduled for Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. During these hours citizens may stop by our temporary headquarters located in the Hatboro Municipal Building, 414 S. York Road, Hatboro, to safely dispose of unwanted, unused or expired medications. This site will be staffed by our police officers who will also be distributing various crime prevention materials.

Participating drop off sites will accept prescription and over-the-counter tablets, capsules, liquid medications, inhalers, creams, ointments, nasal sprays and pet medications. Not accepted are intravenous and injectable solutions as well as needles. Prescription medicines can be in their original prescription bottles with the labels removed or can be placed in plastic bags.

This program is sponsored by the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office and the Police Chief's Association of Montgomery County. The take-back day coincides with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration's nationwide Take Back Day.

For more information on this program, including additional drop off locations throughout Montgomery County, please visit www.montcopa.org/da.
