Advisory: Drug Take Back day was a success! Citizens may now dispose of unwanted medications 24/7 at HPD!

Dear Nixle User,

We thank everyone who stopped by on Saturday for our second drug take back event. On Saturday, 4/30/2016, 49 pounds of expired, unused or unwanted medications were turned in to Hatboro PD for safe disposal.

Today we are pleased to announce that we will be expanding our drug take back program. Citizens may now stop in our temporary police headquarters located at 414 South York Road, 2nd Floor, Hatboro to dispose of expired, unused or unwanted medications 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Through finding provided by Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele and the Pennsylvania District Attorney's Association, Hatboro PD has obtained a secure medication disposal box that is in our lobby.

Citizens may utilize this disposal container to safely dispose of any expired, unused or unwanted medications (please, no syringes, injectable drugs, aerosol dispensers or liquids containing hydrogen peroxide).

For full details, view this message on the web.
