Thursday June 16, 2016, 9:08 AM Southwestern Regional Police Department Advisory: Traffic Detour on SR 116 Near Spring Grove Dear Nixle User, Beginning today at approximately 0900 AM, Thursday, 06.16.16, SR 116 (York Road) will be closed to all traffic as York Rail replaces the railroad crossing infrastructure. The actual closure location of the roadway is at Ambau Rd. - which is also closed. This road is the main thoroughfare between Spring Grove and Hanover in York County. The roadway is ANTICIPATED to reopen sometime on Tuesday 06.21.16. Detours are in place. We expect delays for traffic using the detours as 17,000 vehicles will need to be rerouted by this closure. Southwestern Regional Police is recommending that travelers find alternate routes by avoiding the detours. For full details, view this message on the web.
