Community: FPPD has Premise Alert packets. A program sponsored by the Allegheny County District Attorneys Office.

Dear Nixle User,

The Allegheny County District Attorney's Office is sponsoring a program call Premise Alert.

The Premise Alert System provides families with a method to alert first responders about special needs individuals. It also provides first responders with advance knowledge, allowing for quick and educated responses during crisis, evacuations and disasters.

The Franklin Park Police Department will be providing information packets to the guardians of special needs children or adults which will give first responders critical information to be used in an emergency. Anyone who is a caregiver to someone in their home with a physical, mental health or intellectual disability is eligible to receive a packet.

Stop in to our department Monday thru Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm to get your FREE packet. Then return the packet to coordinator, police secretary Diane Rose, who will then mail the form to Allegheny County 911 center. Once the center gets the information it will be downloaded, then if a loved one becomes lost or missing the information will be disseminated to the police.

If you have any questions on the program call Franklin Park Police Secretary Diane Rose at (412) 364-1227.
